Policy
The Company has and will always pursue a policy of equal access to Training and Promotion, and of affording equality of treatment to job Applicants and to its Employees. Through its sound employment Policies, it has sought to apply fair standards in all aspects of Employment relations.
It is now; however thought appropriate to make a formal statement that the Company is striving to be an equal opportunity employer.
- The Company's policy is that no job applicant or employee shall receive less favourable treatment than another on the grounds of sex, disability, marital status, religion or creed, colour, race or ethnic origin.
- In addition the Company will maintain its commitment to fair treatment of all employees by continuing to ensure that there is equal opportunity for each employee to use his or her individual skills and talents to the best advantage.
- Every employee is obliged to accept a commitment to this policy and a personal responsibility for contributing to its effective operation. Employees should note that discriminatory ants in breech of the policy will be regarded as serious misconduct, which will be dealt with through the established disciplinary rules and procedure.
- Any employee who feels that he or she has been discriminated against should pursue the matter through the Company's established grievance procedure.
- The Company's Equal Opportunities Policy will be reviewed from time to time. Employees will be notified of any changes that are made to the policy in the future.
