Crack Injection

The control of unwanted water penetration or leakage in civil engineering and building structures can be carried out using specially developed injection resins & systems. We retain within our staff and labour force a dedicated team of leak sealing specialists experienced in mastering often complex and damaging leaks.

Principally the approach is to investigate the circumstances of leakage fully with the client, visit the site to carry out a visual inspection and from this establish the most appropriate methodology and materials.

Water always takes the easiest route and may only be evident leaking from part of the defect but sufficiently relieving the water pressure. Once that part is sealed other areas may begin to leak, therefore the initial work of our teams is to test the leakage paths by injection of water under pressure and establish their extent.

A range of available materials can then be used in sealing the leaks, these vary from basic cementitious grouts to specifically formulated polyurethane resins which react with the water to form a foam mass. Some materials are flexible to accommodate small movement while others can be bound in damp conditions.
